A water garden for a listed farmhouse
Wigmore
A babbling stream runs through the garden following the natural contours of the land. Starting on the terrace next to the house, the stream meanders and curves around a circular seating area before dropping down into a small pond. Planting alongside provides scent, colour and structure in the garden, whilst taller plants give an element of screening and privacy. The secluded seating area has been set into the bank at a slightly lower level, making for a lovely spot to enjoy views across the valley.
